About Us

Welcome to the Page Valley Beekeepers Association (PVBA), a community of passionate beekeepers dedicated to the art and science of beekeeping in the heart of Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Our mission is to promote sustainable beekeeping practices, support pollinator health, and foster education and collaboration among beekeepers of all skill levels.

Who We Are

The PVBA brings together hobbyists, professionals, and enthusiasts who share a deep appreciation for honey bees and their critical role in our ecosystem. Founded on the principles of education, conservation, and community, our association serves as a hub for knowledge exchange, networking, and mutual support.

What We Do

At PVBA, we are committed to enriching the lives of beekeepers and the broader community through:

  • Monthly Meetings: Educational sessions featuring expert speakers, hands-on workshops, and open discussions on the latest beekeeping techniques and challenges.

  • Community Outreach: Presentations, school programs, and public events to raise awareness about the importance of pollinators and how to protect them.

  • Resources and Support: Access to local mentors, a library of beekeeping resources, and shared tools to help our members thrive in their apiary endeavors.

Join Us

Whether you’re an experienced beekeeper or just starting your journey, the PVBA offers a welcoming and supportive environment for all. Our members benefit from shared experiences, expert advice, and opportunities to connect with others who share their passion for bees.
